La Creu Cafe is a relaxed spot tucked into the heart of Benidorm’s Old Town, offering a straightforward but satisfying mix of coffee, pastries, and casual bites. The café doubles as a churrería, so local favorites like churros con chocolate naturally stand out alongside a broader menu that ranges from Italian-style pizzas to casual snacks like hot dogs and kebabs. This variety means it’s equally good for a quick sweet treat, a coffee break, or a low-key, unfussy meal.

On sunny days, the generous outdoor seating spills onto Placa de la Creu, making it a natural choice for those wanting to enjoy the afternoon light while watching the rhythms of local life unfold. It’s the kind of place where locals drop in for a cappuccino or café con leche paired with churros, often settling in to chat or take in a bit of sun. The friendly, approachable staff create a welcoming vibe that puts visitors at ease—especially families, thanks to their patient, down-to-earth attitude when little accidents happen.

If you’re looking for a casual, no-pressure spot where you can relax over a well-made coffee or share a simple meal with friends or family, La Creu Cafe fits the bill. It leans into its role as part of the neighborhood fabric: a meeting point, a quick stop on a stroll, or a place to unwind after wandering the nearby streets. Mornings and early afternoons, particularly when the sun is out, are the best times to experience it at its liveliest and most pleasant.

Nice place, friendly staff. I had 2 kids and one of them dropped a glass. I was a bit embarrassed and wanted to pay for the glass and clean it up. However, the staff reassured us 'thats kids' and were very kind. I appreciated that.
